Why Plant a million trees ?
Every day we cut 2.7 millions trees for our day to day needs, so we need to plant many many millions of trees, in fact Billions of trees, if not Trillions of trees.
We are thinking to contribute as much as we can towards the biggest global problem. Reforestation is the ultimate solution to sustain our world.
According to the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) an estimated 18 million acres (7.3 million hectares) of forests are lost each year. Half of the worlds tropical rain forests have already been cleared.
The Amazon rain-forest best known as worlds lungs which produces 20% of our globes oxygen. Due to continuous deforestation the Brazilian Government has now implemented strict law enforcement, satellite monitoring in designated areas that are completely protected.
Its been said the best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago, the second best time is now.
